Dwight Trible is on fire ! I love this man, his voice and his creativity. I have a lot of pleasure to come on board of the Mothership ! I have to say thank you master for this fantastic trip ! :)
Favorite track: Mothership.
"For me, Trible is one of the greatest living jazz vocalists... Totally absorbing album."
"Trible's days as a cult underground artist are possibly numbered."
"A quintessential, forward-looking album that invokes themes of maternal love, family and transcendent spirituality."
Dwight Trible is a rarity. Few singing careers involve performing with the legendary likes of Pharaoh Sanders, Kenny Garrett and Charles Lloyd, whilst also producing and innovating music with today’s hippest artists, ranging from J Dilla to Kamasi Washington.
His upcoming album, ‘Mothership’, is thus a true masterpiece. Trible’s voice, unrivalled in its passion and depth, is set against a background of spiritual riffs brought about by LA’s top jazz musicians, with Kamasi on saxophone no less. As arguably the world’s greatest living jazz vocalist, Dwight Trible is a legend in waiting - and it’s time he was heard.

This is just one hell of a groovy album. Eaglehurst/The Palace just busts down dancefloors. Great to see the original jazz dancers getting down to something so new and fresh, better yet to see a whole new scene buiding. It's the real deal. Paul Murphy
